Raise The Debt Limit

I think the federal government should raise the United States debt limit. According to the USA Today Windows app, Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew declared in a letter to Congress that the United States would "run out of borrowed money 'no later than Oct. 17' unless Congress" raised the $16.7 trillion debt limit. I do not think our country should run out of borrowed money. I think we need to raise the debt limit to avoid a financial crisis. I believe America is a good nation. I believe that we must manage our financial resources responsibly.
