We the people, you know, the ones that pay your salaries, your benefits and your pensions through our federal taxes, respectfully request that the minimum retirement age (MRA) for all federal civilian employees born on January 1st, 1975 be changed from 57 years to 62 years in an effort to reduce the cost of federal government. Additionally, the MRA for all federal civilian employees born after this date should be increased by an additional two months for each birth year after 1975 until the MRA has reached 65 years, or basically all federal civilian employees born on January 1st, 2011 or later would have a MRA of 65 years.
