The time has come to recognize that the current minimum wage offered in this country is in no way a viable means for sustaining even the basic necessities of life. With so many positions now relegated to part time in response to the affordable care act the quality of life for already struggling American families is now all the more diminished. recognize that the current Minimum wage standard is a joke: give Americans a reasonable and realistic base rate of pay for performing their jobs in relation to today's cost of living.
