Raise the Federal Minimum Wage to $12.00. This would stimulate the economy as well as improve the standard of living.

Created by S.M. on November 19, 2012

Quoting Huffington Post "It is not often when a left-wing think tank, and a right-wing magazine are in full agreement. When they are, it is a sign which we should take seriously. An increase of the federal minimum wage to $12/hour is the solution to many of the problems facing the United States today."
Raising the minimum wage would improve the economy, help reduce the amount of people receiving the EITC and other tax credits.Increases in family income would help shift people off Food Stamp benefits, as well as help them to be able to afford health insurance. It would increase the standard of living for many families. With more in their paycheck, families would also be spending it in their local economies, helping to improve economic conditions across the country.
