Raise the federal minimum wage to the 1968 level adjusted for inflation, and adjust it annually for inflation

Created by J.B. on June 01, 2015

Raise the United States federal minimum wage to its 1968 equivalent and adjust it annually for inflation. American workers have been taken advantage of for many years. The United States needs to reform its policies regarding trade which do not protect the American worker. Make it cost prohibitive to ship any labor costs abroad, and adjust tariffs to protect domestic production and service industry jobs. Demand congress end any financial incentives for outsourcing and create new law in which it will be far more cost effective for domestic operations and very cost prohibitive for any industry to outsource production or development of any kind. Protect the American worker.
