Living on $7.25 an hour is impossible. We cannot pay our bills when we are getting paid practically nothing. Since prices keep going up, so should our federal minimum wage. We should not have to have two or more jobs just to live paycheck to paycheck. By increasing the federal minimum wage to a reasonable amount where we will not need multiple jobs to support ourselves, we will create more jobs. If we no longer need two or more jobs, those positions will open up for others and they will be able to find work. This will decrease our unemployment rate.
