Raise the Federal Minimum Wage for tipped employees to match the standard Federal Minimum Wage.

Created by C.C. on September 26, 2015

The Federal minimum wage for employees who work for tips is $2.13, a rate which has not increased since 1991. $2.13 is in no way a livable wage, and hardly any businesses with tipped employees compensate for low tips. Help us end the humiliating practice of hardworking individuals bending over backwards because their employers are too cheap to pay a decent wage. A tip should be a perk, not a person's entire income.
