Raise the federal poverty limit. Too many working people are stymied by a poverty limit that was too low 20 years ago.

Created by B.S. on January 20, 2015

Raise the poverty limit for working Americans.
Today, rent, utilities, food and even gasoline are almost doubled what it was twenty years ago.
Families are unable to pay for the necessities, and assistance is unavailable for those working families. Raise the poverty limit and more people will be able to buy healthy food, pay utilities and maybe even save enough to build their way out of poverty.
Raising the poverty limit will also reduce the forced decision of many to remain in poverty, since there is no bridge from poverty to middle class, allowing them to reach for opportunity without fear of their children going hungry.
You can raise this limit without Congress. Please help the working poor, quickly.
