In all of history nothing has furthered the advancement of the human condition than science and technology. To a king of a few hundred years ago the poorest of society today would have access to thing that he would give all his wealth to possess. Science and technology has always provided the heart of a growing economy and a happier populace.
Now surveys of the scientific community has shown that after sequestration 1 in 4 scientists are considering leaving the United States to further their research due to lack of funding.
We risk destroying our economy by losing innovation. We risk falling behind in health research, physics, biology, astronomy, and energy if we allow this to continue.
We must become a nation of innovators again.
