Political figures each year raise billions of dollars in funds across the country just to put them in office (or keep them in office). These same political figures need to get creative and raise funds for a better cause than giving them a job.
All funds raised would go straight to our debt and not towards any other objective. After we have finished paying off our 'credit card' debt, we will no longer have those monthly payment, and the constantly increasing debt due to interest.
Once this has been taken care of, then BOTH parities will be in a better situation to realistically work together to balance our books where both parties are happy.
We could apply six sigma principles and concepts to make our country operate more effectively and efficiently.
