By raising the Gas Tax by 5 cents per gallon, we can generate enough revenues to convert the country's cars and trucks to use Natural Gas and we make the OIL companies pay for a cleaner environment and lower energy costs as all cars eventually are able to use energy found in the USA while it costs half as much per mile and is cleaner on the environment.
But the real reason to do this is to create TENS OF THOUSANDS of jobs. Eventually, by converting the infra-structure of this country's transportation system, even more jobs will be created due to a faster, less congested and cleaner environment.
