The household income limit on getting Food Stamps should be higher than what it currently is because the person who is on Food Stamps, may have more bills that over step the current limit. The person might makes more than that but their bills take all of their paycheck and they are denied because they make more money monthly. I think the household income limit should be $2,500 as that way, the family can get Food Stamps as they can pay all of their bills and buy other non-food items like toilet paper, dish soap and laundry detergent instead of seeking help from food pantries or the dumpsters. The states all believe that if you make more than $1,700, you can afford to put food on your own. You can't live paycheck to paycheck anymore, we need more help in putting food on the table.
