We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Raise The Legal Age To Smoke To Twenty One Years

Created by A.H. on October 10, 2016

Smoking is a dangerous, expensive habit. Currently, eighteen year-olds are allowed to legally purchase cigarettes. Your frontal lobe isn't even fully developed until your mid-twenties, so allowing teens to put their health at risk without their brains even being fully developed is irresponsible and dangerous.
Hundreds of thousands of people experience the negative side effects of smoking such as lung cancer, throat cancer, trouble breathing, stained teeth, smelly clothes, and much more.
We need to work together to raise the age you can purchase cigarettes at to twenty one. In the long run, we need to raise the age higher or even make cigarettes illegal. Until then however, this three year change will help the nation's teens stay healthier longer.
