Raise legal drinking age to 25, Same age to rent a car

Created by A.W. on January 22, 2013

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an average of one person dies in a drunk driving fatality every 51 minutes.
The current legal drinking age of 21 is too young. Most people at this age are still maturing, and the unlimited amount of alcohol these civilians can consume proposes a danger to society. You must be at a fully mature age in order to handle alcohol maturely. Although people who are not 21 drink illegally anyway, raising the legal age to 25 would make it harder for them to do so.
At most car lots, the legal age to rent a car is 25 years old. If you have to be that old to rent a car, you should have to be that old to handle alcohol and drink responsibly.
