Raise the Minimum and Maximum Income Limit For Government Assistance (SNAP,Medical,Energy Assistance)

Created by A.W. on April 02, 2013

There are too many people struggling because their income is just a few dollars over the maximum amount allowed to receive benefits. The fact the more we make the higher our expenses are doesn't seem to matter. It seems in America that the less you desire to work the more you receive in aid, whereas there are many families working very hard to make it but being a few dollars over the limit, receive no aide. Let's applaud the people who at least try to work 40 hrs a week at a minimum wage job for their families; instead of giving incentive to the lazy people making zero dollars yet receiving $700 in SNAP Assistance a month. Raise the minimum amount from $0, make it a point to try for even a part-time job. Make it harder to milk the government funds and rather, use it to reach stabilty.
