To raise the minimum wage to $10.00 per hour to reflect the cost of living increase in the US.

Created by A.C. on February 06, 2013

The Current minimum wage rate is $7.25 per hour that was last changed in 2009. That means a hard working American can only make $15,080 with a full time job. Many people currently taking minimum wage jobs are those who lost their previous higher paying job with the economic recession. With a increase the minimum yearly wage in the US with a full time job would be 20,800. We need to get real about the cost of living in america and a decent wage.
