Minimum wage needs to be increased to help boost the economy. Individuals and families need a more substantial income to help end the need for government assistance. Raising minimum wage would give more people buying power that would create more jobs because the demand for a variety of products would increase. I believe minimum wage should be increased to $11 an hour.
