In New Jersey minimum wage is $8.38 an hour which means a full time minimum wage worker grosses $335.20 a week, $1,340.80 a month and $17,430.40 a year. New Jersey has already been proven to be one of the most expensive states to live in, where the average annual cost of living for a single adult is about $29,000 a year. If minimum wage were to set to $15 an hour full-time minimum wage workers would gross $600 a week, $2,400 a month and $31,200 a year this would allow so many americans to live at least somewhat comfortable.
