All my 99% friends complain about how major corporations enslave people in this country by paying them such a low wage; however, technically the major corporations aren't breaking any laws by paying the absolute minimum wage.
So the answer is fairly obvious, if the corporations are unwilling to give increase in pay because they know it's not illegal to pay minimum wage--the minimum wage should be increased!
I'm not an Economist, but I've worked plenty of entry level jobs, been in the military, and also been a union carpenter.
I would say an increase to $15/h would be fair National Minimum Wage.
