We live in a capitalistic society where major capitalists invest and profit from the labor of others. Our government should promote equality and divide resources equally among everyone. If minimum wage were to be raised to $20 an hour, we would all live much more comfortably. Higher purchasing power could help stimulate our economy without falling into greater debt.
