My issue involves minimum wage. Right now minimum wage is of everyone’s concern. “ No one who works full-time -- in this, one of the wealthiest nations on Earth -- should have to raise a family in poverty.”
This is an important issue because right now minimum wage is at “$7.25.” Making this much every hour may not seem like much to many. You can make a steady living but not something that you deserve from hard work. Especially now that the cost of living is starting to increase these past five years, making $7 an hour won’t suffice. This low minimum wage also doesn’t give much purchasing power to the consumer. So basically hands are tied in this situation.
