We need a raise to minimum wage. We need our president to lookout for us families that live paycheck to paycheck worrying if they will have enough money to pay rent and eat food. There are millions of workers that are being exploited in the workforce to do unbearable work and be paid a minimum wage. Students, who are already loaded by the cost of schools, need the extra money.
Raising the minimum wage will help boost our economy not by trickle-down economics, but by focusing on the lower class. This will stimulate the economy by giving the poor more purchasing power. There will be more money that will be taxed on and thus help us gain a little vantage in the depression we are in.
We must put in a little sacrifice in order to benefit the whole of society!
