Raise the minimum wage to a living wage ($11-15 ish) . No exceptions for visa workers, tipped workers.

Low minimum wages don't work. We've ended up with 30% of the population on income based handouts which just creates bureaucracy, unfairness and higher costs. By paying people enough that they don't need food stamps we can encourage workplace participation and cut down on government bureaucracy. Suggest $15 by 2016 and more in expensive locations.
