The members of our Armed Services are grossly under-paid for the sacrifices they make. Active Duty members of the Armed Services make about as much a School Teacher, or an Associate at a fast food restaurant. And most are struggling to make end's meet. Why should someone who has gone to war to fight for his/her country, some up to 14 separate times, have to live paycheck to paycheck?! This is completely wrong, and not enough attention has been given to this situation. Military members are federal employees, are they not? If President Obama wants to pay federal employees $10.10 an hour, then all we ask is, where is the raise for our troops?!
