Minimum Wage needs to be raised! On a federal level! Something needs to be done about the fact a lot of people are living BELOW poverty level. More and more people are relying on aid, welfare and food stamps when the problem could be solved by letting us get paid what we deserve. Right now, $7.25 is not enough to be independent. This wage is not enough to support ourselves or our families. This wage is not enough to buy a roof over our heads or pay the bills. WE the PEOPLE have been promised a higher wage a LONG time ago - How long do we have to wait? This struggle should be over!
