The minimum wage as of now for the state of Pennsylvania is 7.25 an hour ( poverty level ) no one can really live on that and not everyone in PA has an entry level job and live from paycheck to paychek . If minimum wage is raised , less funding would be needed for government assistance like heating and food stamps and that would help the government as well as helping the great American People of Pennsylvania . My opinion is minimum wage should be raised in every state but since I reside here , we will start with PA .
