Raise minimum wage for tipped employees. At $2.13 for over 20 yrs. Tips stay the same because of cost of living.

Created by J.R. on January 05, 2013

So...for over 20 years fed server minimum wage has been frozen at $2.13 per hr. In that time the value of that $$ has dropped over 40%! Regular minimum wage continues to raise, "serving" a paycut to all tipped employees everywhere! The cost of living follows, meaning patrons will not be tipping anymore than they ever have. Not to mention the restaurants that are taking advantage of this by creating more work for the "lower" paid employees to conserve labor costs.....WV... Raise server minimum wage!!
