Raise minimum wage by two dollars federally, so people don't have to live in such poverty.

There are a lot of people out there who can't afford to go to college or are college graduates who are stuck with high student loans and the inability to find a career because of the economy. There are single parents who can barely afford to live and their children have to go to sleep at night hungry because they never had an opportunity to gain a career. Millions of employers are taking advantage of hard working individuals who may have a lot of experience, but because they want to keep costs down don't pay people what they are worth. All around I think this would help people that are barely surviving with enough to survive; especially with the rising prices of gas, food, housing, etc...
