Raise the National Minimum Wage to $10.10

Created by G.P. on March 21, 2014

We call upon Congress to pass the bill proposed by President Obama to raise the national minimum wage to $10. 10/hour.

The minimum wage has not kept up with inflation over the last 40 years. We deserve fair pay for our hard work.

About fifty million Americans now live below the poverty line.

Raising the minimum wage will mean more income for at least 18.6 million workers and their families, and likely result in a “ripple effect”, meaning higher pay for all hourly workers.

The American people are overwhelmingly in support of raising the minimum wage. We call upon Congress to meet our demands.
