After reading an article on the minimum wage and how we are expected to live on a minimal budget working 60+ hours a week, I realize that there needs to be an enormous correction in the National Minimum Wage. Minimum wage has not been raised at all when compared to inflation and needs to be greatly corrected in order to repair the damage done to our economy. There is another petition in place to raise the minimum wage to $11/hr; I do not feel that is enough. Minimum wage should be at least $20 hourly, in order to put the average consumer back on par with the inflated prices of today's goods.
