Raise the national minimum wage to $8.15 an hour.

Created by C.C. on January 01, 2013

The current national minimum wage of $7.25 an hour is no longer enough. Inflation is rising, and the number of jobs does not match the number of workers, meaning less hours for workers. Many people who work minimum wage jobs also receive federal benefits due to the lack of income. Raising the minimum wage would allow those who work minimum wage jobs to afford necessities that continue to become more expensive.
