North Carolina is only paying Certified Nursing Assistants $9.00 an hour...so much less than most states. If you are a CNA, you know and understand that we do more than Nurses and run our feet like crazy during our shifts. We get paid $9.00 an hour, a total of only a $1,000.00 a month after taxes. We take care of others but we can not even afford to take care of ourselves, our children, or our spouses. We do so much and it's time we get what we work so hard for.
