As we speak there are military service members who do not make enough money to feed their families and are being forced to apply for food stamps. We have the only all volunteer military in the world. However, our troops are paid near to nothing for the time they put in. There is no over time paid to them. Our son's and daughter's have volunteered to give their very lives for this country yet we pay them like peasants for what they do. I am a veteran myself. I have seen,for myself,a young soldier pulling out food stamps at the commissary to feed his family. Billions of dollars are being poured into the Department of Defense but I can tell you true it's not going into our troops pockets. Support this petition and let's show support for the troops are not just words to get a vote.
