Raise the pay for Paramedics, Firefighters, Police Officers, and Military

Created by T.Z. on November 18, 2015

Paramedics, Firefighters, Police Officers, and people of the military are grossly underpaid. Coming from a current EMT, the amount of work we do and the things we are exposed to do not match up with what we are paid. This also applies to other branches I have listed. EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, and people in the Military are all here in response to any emergencies that occur. We are all first responders and we are all exposed to great danger running into situations people are running out of. We all risk our lives every single day to ensure everyone is safe and we put everything on the line. However, at the end of the day when we go home to our families, if we even make it home to our families, the amount of work put into our shifts is not nearly enough to satisfy or support ourselves.
