We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Raise the Rainbow flag alongside the U.S. flag above the White House to honor the victims of Orlando

Created by K.F. on June 12, 2016

On July 14, 1920 President Wilson took the unprecedented action of flying the U.S. and French flags together above the White House to show solidarity between our two nations following the horror of the first World War. The terrorizing of innocent people in Orlando -- the worst mass shooting in U.S. history -- has brought unspeakable violence and horror to the LGBT community. Like President Wilson, President Obama has an opportunity to adapt our normal flag protocol in response to this horrific event. He should order the raising of the Rainbow flag to half-staff alongside the American flag above the White House to both honor the fallen in Orlando and symbolize our national pride in all our citizens during this period of great tragedy.
