raise the refugee ceiling by 50,000

The other day when the Obama Administration announced they were going to raise the refugee ceiling to 10,000 I was disgusted. Families and children are being slaughtered over in the Middle East and we only accept 10,000 refugees? What happened to helping those in need in time of crisis? What ever happened to Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. The United States has become nothing, but an embarrassment to the international community. We Mr. President ask that you please raise the refugee ceiling to 50,000, and help those in time of need.
