Raise the residential code minimum insulation values to R-19 in wall and R-40 in ceilings cost, comfort and climate.

Created by A.M. on May 24, 2013

If all new homes use less energy than the existing stock we will together reduce the number of power plants being built, honor our commitment to reduce climate change, and every one of us can share in the savings. This way people can spend more in their local economies by owing less to the coal and gas giants. Efficiency is the easiest way to invest in our personal and collective future economy and environment. No one ever regretted putting more insulation in their house. We just need to make sure developers and builders don't have the temptation to make homes less comfortable and efficient than they should be.
