Raise the salary of whoever responds to stupid petitions

Created by J.H. on January 30, 2014

We've all signed a lot of petitions. Most of them are TERRIBLE. Some of them make it up to over 500,000 signatures, and then some poor soul working for the White House has to go through the trouble of coming up with a funny response to stupid ideas like "repeal the Second Law of Thermodynamics for a more perfect heat transfer." And you know what? That person TOTALLY delivers! We've seen clever responses like "Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that could be exploited by a one-man starship?" to the outlandish request of a working Death Star. Someone went through the trouble of reading every word of that, and that person deserves both our respect and our tax dollars. God Bless America.
