Raise the speed limit to 55 mph in the interest of fuel-efficiency and Eco-friendliness as well as to reduce traffic.

Created by J.D. on December 14, 2012

Many research studies have been conducted and concluded that the average car is the most fuel efficient when driven at 55 mph. Several laws have been made to lower the highway speed limit in order to make the air cleaner. If the speed limit is raised, traffic congestion would be reduced resulting in less travel time for the cars which also leads to less fuel consumption. This plan will help clean up the air and solve traffic issues with minimum risk added.
