Puerto Rico, the United States' most southern border is not being protected properly, which has allowed crime rate in Puerto Rico to become too high. Currently Puerto Rico's per capita murder rate is six times that of the U.S. as a whole. Most of the crimes are related to drugs and that is smuggled to the island from nearby nations through it's shores.
We ask the federal government to spend more money on police, coast guard and crime prevention in Puerto Rico to help these American citizens stay safe.
