Raise the student loan interest tax deduction from max $2,500 per person to $5,000 per person for the next 5 years

The current cap on tax deductible student loan interest is $2,500. millions of people pay much more in interest and this petition simply asks that we double the current amount to 5,000 for the next 5 years. This is an easy way....one step to stimulate the economy and ease the student loan burden that millions of Americans are facing in these trying economic times.
