Raise U.S. Support for Syrian Refugees

Created by S.F. on October 29, 2015

With approximately nine million Syrian refugees recognized through the U.N. Refugee Agency, these individuals are forced to flee to Turkey, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and even Syria itself.

While member states of the European Union aim to resettle over 33,000 refugees, the United States must take action as well.

A country built upon foundations of human rights should certainly be at the forefront in raising awareness for and supporting these Syrian refugees.

We ask that the President publicly emphasize the crisis faced by Syrian refugees and call upon the support of the government for the resettlement of at least 50,000 of these individuals by the next year.
