It is unfair to the growing lower and middle classes of working people to pay more than the wealthy in income and other taxes. It is unfair to penalize the future of Social Security because the wealthiest tax payers pay less than the middle, lower, and disabled/retired persons in society.
History has shown that many dark periods, such as the French Revolution's Reign of Terror, the American Revolution, and the rise of naziism in Germany in WWII, were the results of factors that included a distant government, economic depression/recession, and often a huge economic chasm between the wealthy and the poor. We, the non-wealthy, are tired of carrying the weight of the wealthy. Raise the tax rates on them, and force them by law to pay their fair share.
