It is my belief as a Middle Class soldier in the United States Army that my tax rate in proportion to the money I need to sustain lives for my family is exceptionally higher then that for the richest one percent of Americans. This situation does not belong to myself alone. I move that tax rates should be adjusted accordingly in order to put more money in the pockets of the people who need it the most, and close the income gap that has been strangling this country. The following tax rate proposal should be taken in conjunction with current income rates and filing statues for 2013.
Proposed Tax Rates:
2.5% Tax Rate on tier 1 (Poorest)
8.75% Tax Rate on tier 2
22% Tax Rate on tier 3
28% Tax Rate on tier 4
38% Tax Rate on tier 5
40% Tax Rate on tier 6
48.5% Tax Rate on tier 7 (Richest)
