RAISE taxes INTERNATIONAL phone calls

Created by R.D. on January 16, 2013

There are other ways to increase revenues rather than just raising taxes or cutting benefits. One way to increase revenues is to raise taxes on all International phone calls both incoming and outgoing.
The tax should be levied on all types of phone communications, including VOIP and Regular (landline) calls.

The tax can be very minimal maybe $1 per call or 10 cents per minute. The minimalistic tax would add to the revenues, but it won't affect countries like India...

Many American companies outsource their call center operations to countries like India and Philippines. This marginal tax will not affect the bottom-line for the companies but will create more revenue for America.
