The United State's deficit, while not a crushing issue, it can become one. Most of our debt is help by our own country, contrary to popular media lies. We the people, the 98-99% of the country struggle to get by, but the wealthiest 1-2%, the 1% of the 1%, can give away even half their fortunes and still live far more comfortably than many of us.
We ask that the Obama administration fight to raise the taxes, by more than a one or two percent, on the wealthiest citizens of the United States, not to be unfair for them, but to be fairer for all. Higher taxes on the rich will not inhibit their ability to live comfortably or happily; even with higher taxes, they will still hold enough wealth to live far better than most of us.
We ask for fairness.
