In order to bring the deficit under control and fund the government programs, we need to first bring the government under control. First eliminate any department that overlaps with another. Have every govenment function reduce expenses by at least 10%. Reinstate President Clinton's work for welfare program. We need to eliminate freeloading by people who are able but will not work if a job is offered to them. We need tax reform to create a reasonable rate for everyone. Remember the story about the little red hen who couldn't get anyone to help her gather the wheat and made the bread. The govt made her share the bread with all the others. Afterwards she didn't bake anymore bread so they all starved. Think about it.
