The members of Congress and the Senate are wasting time trying to drug test recipients of programs like S.N.A.P. when they should be spending time rebuilding our country.
Finding a way for everyone to have free health care. Building schools instead of prisons. Treating people for drug addictions instead of throwing them in prison. Rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges.
In Florida, they drug tested welfare recipients. 98% of the recipients passed. The state of Florida spent $178,000,000, yes million dollars testing people. They saved sixty thousand dollars.
To me, that is not smart spending. Not only was that a colossal waste of money, the food stamp program is a huge return on money.
We should drug test the government and see if they are practicing what they preach.
