If you or someone you know, even if you don't know anyone, has been raped. In many states there is a timeline for justice of rape. I live in a state to where I can't have the police or anyone investigate my case because I remembered it, quote, "Too late". Many people choose to not even talk about it for years because they physically and/or mentally can not handle it. I feel as though there should not be a certain number of years after the rape in order to tell the court and have justice. Especially when you know it could prevent another rape. Let people wait however long they need to have the ability to get justice or prevent another rape. This personally upsets me that I can't tell and get the courts to listen to my case because it took me a few years to remember my damaging situation.
