Rather than pushing for more firearm laws that criminals will not follow, urge our culture to become less violent.

Our society is inundated with gratuitous violence in popular culture including movies, television, video games and other areas. Even the news media (all of them), has lost it's sense of professionalism and decency. People have forgotten how ugly violence and death actually is. While we cannot tolerate any law restricting our constitutional rights in these areas, we should as a society take a look at what we have become and realize that it isn't necessarily good. Firearms laws will make no difference... criminals do not obey laws. It is better morals and a shift back toward a more civil society that is needed. That society includes ownership and use of firearms by responsible, good people.
